The Box Hunting 7/31/'14

Hello All,

   Today Tommy and I went box hunting at a bunch of different places. We started at Rite Aid and they told us they'd put out their boxes in the dumpster but we could check the dumpster and Tom looks at me and says no, we are not dumpster diving for boxes. Next we went to Price Chopper and asked there, there was a ray of light, the customer service desk told us to call the night manager and ask to have boxes saved. We tried a liquor store and they were just put in the dumpster, in total today we got three boxes from a uniform shop, that sells nursing, and chef uniforms. The second liquor store we tried said that they re-use their boxes. Still the ray of light came through and when tom called earlier tonight Price Chopper will save us boxes to pick up tomorrow afternoon, so Joyful. I mean we could have got them for 75 cents a piece at a home depot or something, but why do that when we wanted the thrill of hunting for them free.

   I'm just in some type of mood tonight where I want to keep going and going like the energizer bunny. We are packing for our move and we've got one dresser cleaned out with only what we are taking in it. Possibly a third of the other dresser done. I found pictures and consolidated my photo albums so I hopefully will only have two too bring with me. I thought about getting up and going through the jewelry box but that would be over kill I had to call it quits at some point.

   Tomorrow night however my B.F.F. Joshes is coming over and we are having McDonald's and a packing party, where he is going to help us box stuff up that we won't need to use in the next 23-24 days.

   Verizon finally got our wi-fi up and working. Took them a month, but I'm happy we can use it now and not run as much on our phones. I should ask Tom if that will transfer with our move like the Direct T.V. is going to transfer.

   Our fax to our moving company did not go through at Staples fax machine the other day and we still paid about $15 to send it. In the later AM Tom and I are going to go make a fax at his father's job so that they definitely get it. Staple's machine must be freaky.

   Pet wise- I don't know if I mentioned it. We are bringing our two dogs. Dash and Peaches and leaving the cat Saprano not because we don't love him but because he won't travel well and he doesn't get along with Dash. ;-( Makes me a bit blue but in the future who knows we might love a cat that will get along better with the medium dog.

   Anyway..I have no more news at the moment.

A Fresh Start/A New Beginning 7/28/'14

friends and fellow artists,

   I have news; my husband Tommy and I are moving. I know, right! Finally. Here's the kicker; we are moving out of state. In fact we're moving to Ohio. Cincinnati. My husband's college best friend offered to put us up 'til we get a job, get established, and get our own place. This is the best news ever!

   However, it comes with downsides. AS all great news does. We are moving out on the 23rd or 24th of August. Yes..less then a month away. So, that causes my hubby some stress as moving does, but, what makes it harder is moving companies don't list quotes online, so, you have to call every single little one. Annoying but we are plowing through because we are definitely going. It's official.

   The hardest people too say goodbye to;

   -Tommy and I's nephew Chris. Especially because he loves his Uncle Tommy so. He tells Uncle Tommy things he doesn't tell anyone else, even, Aunt Katie (Moi). His eyes light up when Tommy walks in and he always has a huge hug for him, sometimes makes me feel like chopped liver. ;-)

   -My B.F.F Joshes. I've known him since middle school and there's so much stuff that's awesome that I remember like high school prom when he took a whole key chain apart and put it back together. lol. Also, we've grown closer over the years and I'm still going to keep in touch but he'll be lonely. He tells me so. That's where letters come in handy.

   -Any Feiden family member staying in NY. Not a lot staying but out of that bunch my brother-in-law and his g/f definitely.

So, we have our lists. Our packing list, our to-do list, and I'm sure there will be another list before we are done and gone but we'll visit on holidays and when we need to attend, god forbid, any unfortunate family funerals.

   That's all I can think of to say now.
